Pokhara and Chitwan Tour is an 8 days and 7 nights trip designed by Himalayan Social Journey. The trip is about exploring the natural beauty of Nepal in two of the most visited places in Nepal. Pokhara is famous for its majestic mountain views, serene lakes, and traditional culture whereas in Chitwan, you can experience the wild vegetation of Nepal. Many people who come to Nepal for trekking or hiking, end their vacation with a small trip to Pokhara and Chitwan. The place is absolutely beautiful for relaxation and for fun activities.
Pokhara and Chitwan Tour commences with a guided sightseeing tour of UNESCO listed world heritage sites in Kathmandu Valley. You will visit Swayambhu, Boudhanath, Pashupatinath, and Patan Durbar Square which all are famous heritage sites of Nepal. Then onwards, you will make your journey towards Pokhara. Pokhara is accessible by both Landways as well as Airways. In Pokhara, you can visit Phewa Lake, Sarangkot, Davis Fall, World Peace Pagoda, International Mountain Museum, Begnas Lake, and some of the caves of Pokhara. Likewise, in Chitwan, you can do an excursion of traditional Tharu village, do a jungle walk in Chitwan National Park, Jungle safari, ox cart ride, elephant breeding center, jeep safari, canoeing, and many other activities in Chitwan.
If lucky, while in Chitwan you may also encounter some of the endangered animals of Nepal like one-horned rhinoceros, Royal Bengal tiger, snow leopard along other animals like sloth bear, jungle cats, crocodiles, deers, monkeys, and many more. Altogether, more than 60 species of mammal species, more than 500 species of birds are found in Nepal.

Upon reaching Kathmandu, our representative will greet you at the airport, providing a warm welcome before transferring you to your hotel. Use this day to acclimate to the new time zone and dive into the vibrant atmosphere of kathmandu. An orientation program is scheduled for 5 pm to help to get acquainated with your surroundings.
Following breakfast, our knowledgeable tour guide from Himalayan Social Journey will escort you on a captivating journey to explore Nepal's UNESCO-listed world heritage sites. Today's itinerary includes visits to the renowned Pashupatinath temple, the majestic Bouddhanath stupa, the tranquil Swoyambhunath Stupa and the historic Patan Durbar Square.
Morning, pick you up from your hotel in Kathmandu, we will embark on a scenic drive toward the Trishuli River. After a scenic 2-3 hours (75 km) drive from Kathmandu, you will arrive at a picturesque riverside with white sandy banks. Here, professional rafting guides will provide you with through instructions on rafting techniques and essential safety measures. Here, we will commence our rafting activities for 2.5-3 hours. As you navigate the extra thrilling rapids of the Trishuli River, you will experience a stimulating rush of adrenaline.
After the rafting, you will have a lunch at resort. Enjoy the afternoon exploring the surroudings. Conclude your day by setteling up on a camp along the riverside and enjoying a night around with the relaxing sound of the river at Trishuli Riverside Resort.
After breakfast, drive to Chitwan approx. 4 hours and transfer to hotel, Welcome drinks, and Canoeing, Visit Elephant breeding center, Lunch, and Elephant Safari or Jungle Drive, evening walk and Tharu cultural show and dinner.
Early morning go for bird watching and after breakfast drive to Pokhara 4-5 hours. Experience the picturesque journey to Pokhara by road, where every twist and turn unveils breathtaking vistas of Nepal’s natural beauty. From terraced fields to cascading waterfalls, the route offers a scenic spectacle. Prepare to be mesmerized by the majestic Himalayan peaks and serene lakes that await in Pokhara’s embrace.
Begin journey with sunrise from Sarangkot. After that one can visit Fewa Lake, where we can boad amidst serene waters with the Annapurna Range reflected in the backdrop. Then ascend to the World Peace Pagoda for panaromic views of the valley and mountains. Explore the Gupteshwor Cave with its mystical limestone formations and the cascading Devis Fall. Discover the rich heritage at the international mountain museum, showcasing Nepal's mountaineering history. Don't miss the vibrant markets and eatries along Lakeside, offering local delicacies and handicrafts. Pokhara promises an unforgettable journey into Nepal's stunning landscapes and traditions.
By road, it takes about 6-7 hours from Pokhara to reach Kathmandu. Through your journey, you will enjoy with Nepal’s varied landscape. From Pokhara’s tranquility, the word winds through valleys, terraced field and bustling towns. As you near Kathmandu, the scenery transitions, offering a glimpse into Nepal’s diverse beauty.
You will enjoy breakfast in the morning, followed by a convenient airport drop-off by our representative for your international flight, perfectly aligned with your schedule. Alternatively, if you're extending your stay in Nepal, you're welcome to join another exciting trip.
Food and Accommodation
You will have comfortable accommodation in Kathmandu (Himalayan Suite Hotel), in Kurintar (Trishuli Riverside Resort), in Pokhara (Lake Star Hotel), Chitwan (Hotel Sevenstar or Hotel Jungle Crown), on twin sharing basis with breakfast
While you will be enjoying varieties of delicacies in Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Chitwan during your stay in an accommodation or eating outside in full-fledged cafes, restaurants, and diners, you will also have an ample opportunity to get healthy food varieties while on the tour in Nepal.

Travel insurance

Personal Safety
Wherever you are your health and security are your responsibilities. In the city, the area is aware of scammers and touts. Outside the airport, or on the road, taxis are likely to charge more than normal. Pickpockets are active in cities and also in the mountains. Even if you are an experienced trekker or have good health and stamina, you don’t know the mountains of Nepal and hence, it is wise to keep up with your guide and stay close with your group.
Valuable items like gold or diamond chains, rings, bracelets are best not carried to the mountains and also keep your day pack with you safe. Your passport, permits, phone, cameras are supposed to be with you all the time. Keep the money you carry safely and securely.
Don't try to get too close to the animals or go to extra lengths for the photos. It is expected and is also for your safety that you travel with responsibility and sensibility.
As long as you are respecting local norms and culture and are open-minded towards the local community, you will be treated well and respected regardless of what gender, religion, and culture you are from.

In the case of a last-minute reservation, 100% tour payment will be approved within 24 hours. We try to operate a trek at any time but we are not liable for the delay in case of last-minute reservation, because of uncontrolled changes such as weather and the availability of accommodation.
