Next, our journey continues to Shigatse, the second-largest city in Tibet and the historical capital of the Tsang province. It is also the traditional seat of the Panchen Lama, the second-highest spiritual authority in Tibetan Buddhism after the Dalai Lama. Early in the morning, you’ll visit the renowned Tashilhunpo Monastery, founded in 1447. During the excursion, you'll explore several important temples within the monastery complex, including the grand Maitreya Temple, dedicated to the future Buddha, along with other sacred shrines that hold deep spiritual and historical significance.

After breakfast at the hotel in Saga, we drive to the sacred Lake Manasarovar. Upon arrival, we perform the Lake Parikrama (circumambulation) by government bus. The journey also includes a visit to the mystical Rakshas Tal (Lake Rakshak) and time to explore the spiritual beauty of Manasarovar Lake. Later, we check in at the Manasarovar Guest House for an overnight stay. You’ll have free time to explore the peaceful surroundings and capture memorable moments through photography.

In the morning, a bucket of warm water will be provided for your bath. After breakfast, we will organize a group Homa Pooja and Pitri Visarjan by the sacred Lake Manasarovar. Following the rituals and lunch at Manasarovar, we drive to Darchen, the base for Mount Kailash Parikrama, where you will check in and stay overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, we begin our journey to Yamadwar. Before heading there, we coordinate and confirm the arrangements for horses and helpers as per group requirements. Upon arrival at Yamadwar, we begin our trek toward Derapuk, following the trail that leads to the North Face of Mount Kailash. Along the way, we receive a sacred Darshan of the West Face. The walk continues through stunning landscapes until we reach Derapuk, the closest point to view the majestic North Face of Mount Kailash. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the guest house in Derapuk.

After breakfast at the guest house, we begin the day’s trek early, as this is the longest and most challenging walk of the journey, taking place at the highest altitude. For those who choose not to continue to Dolma La Pass, arrangements will be made for a guide and support staff to assist with returning to Darchen.
Those continuing the Parikrama will trek alongside our experienced Nepali staff, crossing the sacred Dolma La Pass. Just beyond the pass lies the revered Gauri Kunda, where you may request our team to collect holy water (Jal) on your behalf. The descent then continues toward Zuthulphuk, where you will have dinner and an overnight stay at the guest house.

After breakfast, you will trek down approximately 10 km along a winding, gradual path. Once you reach a place called Chongdo, our transport will pick you up and drive back to Saga.

After breakfast at the hotel in Saga, we drive along the blacktopped highway towards kerung. We proceed to the Nepal-Tibet border to complete exit formalities, then continue our journey with a lunch stop at Ghatekhola before driving onward to Kathmandu.
