“We had a wonderful experience with Himalayan Social Journey. They were extremely helpful in helping us organize our visit and visas for Nepal. Our wonderful driver Dilip was waiting for us at the airport upon arrival to bring us to the accommodations they had organized for us. We did a lovely day tour of Kathmandu and enjoyed our tour guide Dip very much. The Everest plane tour was everything we could have dreamed of and more. Every part of our journey was seamless and pleasant thanks to Himalayan Social Journey and their wonderful employees. They were even kind enough to organize a covid test for us after the tour before our return home. Everyone made us feel welcome and at home. Nepal is truly a unique and wonderful country and their hospitality was touching. We can not wait to return for another tour.”

“I arrived in Kathmandu without an exact plan! The “Everest sightseeing flight” was the only picture I had in mind for which I contacted various agencies. Unfortunately, I did not get a proper response from any. While browsing for more details, I noticed a review of the Himalayan Social Journey. Mr. Rameswar, the Manager of the Company, contacted me and was totally helpful in planning my Kathmandu days. The whole trip was memorable and the entire credit goes to Mr. Rameswar, Dileep, Dil & the Himalayan Social Journey team members. From my experience, I would recommend “Himalayan Social Journey”, if you really wish to achieve Himalayan Satisfaction!!!”

“The easiest and the fasted way to see the Everest. Everything including hotel pickup was organized very well. Views of mountains and Everest are amazing.”

“It's a nice short flight to the Everest range. The good thing is that you can accommodate it even if you are in Kathmandu for a short trip. However, even if you miss it, it's not so bad because it's not a very close view of Everest. The range is visible but Everest is kind of hidden behind the other mountains and can be seen protruding on top of them. The plane turns back when you kind of get Everest's view. They handover a pamphlet showing the mountain peaks with their name. The staff is helpful and show you all the significant peaks in the view, they also handover a certificate to you in the end :-)”

“Very good tour. The ladies on the plane were very informative. The guy who picked us up was pleasant. The views were spectacular. Didn’t get any champagne at the end but every one got a window seat. Definitely worth doing”

“HSJ are very professional and their Guide and Driver’s are very courteous and communicate well - we were a group of 6 brothers and we did Kathmandu sightseeing in a Toyota Hiace , Everest Scenic flight in Buddha air and Nagarkot & Bhaktapur sightseeing through Himalayan social journey. Rameshwar was very informative and had arranged all activities planned in advance - hats off and I would recommend HSJ any day for any family and friends”

“Went on the Budda air tour which departs from Kathmandu at 615am. Early start as need to arrive at the airport for 5am (which is when it opens) Every customer had a window seat and it lasts for approx one hour. Good views of Everest for each side of the plane (one side has on the way there; and the other on the return). Aisle seats were kept empty during my flight, however we didn’t go in the cockpit for some reason - although no problems with that. You get given a basic leaflet regarding the surrounding mountains and very limited info for the flight attendant although you will know for sure when Everest is there! Very peaceful and surreal experience, would recommend this for everyone. Didn’t have the pick up option so can’t comment for that. Gets a bit cold so take a jumper”

“This mountain will teach you a lots of great lessons in life, and one of them is that when you see the peak, it doesn't mean that you will always climb higher, as sometimes the mountain will force you to go down many time to reach high levels, and this life as you sometimes go down to go up and high. I”

“The view is truly amazing, certainly worth experiencing. My one gripe would be that we had been given an "Experience Everest" guide to what we were going to see on the flight but I feel it would have been good if there was someone onboard to explain what was coming into view. The cabin crew did point out when Mt Everest was coming into view so that was something.”

“Overpriced for such a short trip and the quality of the airplane but the views of the mountains are amazing so it’s worth it. Be careful when booking because the price advertised is for Indian nationals only.”

Sheree airline does the actual tour and they provided window seat to everyone. The hostess were able to provide info throughout the flight. Overall an excellent, memorable experience b”

“Great company and great service, unfortunately my flight was cancelled due to clouded weather but you can bet a refund in this case. In the end it is good if you only fly when you can see something so this is a plus too”

“While the flight had to be cancelled because of inclement weather during monsoon season, the company was friendly and prompt to respond. They were helpful with giving the refund.”

“This is a must when traveling to Nepal. You get to see stunning aerial views of the mountains from the comfort of your seat. The company was very communicative and informative throughout the whole process. Definitely recommended!!!”

“We booked this trip through Rainbow Adventure and Travel. The pick up from our hotel was fine. We then went to collect someone else who was clearly still asleep. We were cutting it fine to get to the airport on time. We just made the last check in but this meant we got the worst seats next to the engines so our view was obscured. That said the staff on Yeti airways were helpful pointing out all of the mountains and gave you a guide to follow. They took some photos for me out of the front seat windows. When we arrived back no ride to take us back. A kind man phoned the company who told him to tell us to get a taxi ourselves as the car had left with 4 people in it. We explained we had no money and was told to take the taxi to our hotel. We refused as we had paid for pick up and drop off. He then sent a car.”

“This was absolutely great beginning of the day, to see these wonderful views. Guys organized super comfortable trip - picked us up, guided to the airport and dropped us back. The airplane crew been very attentive to all passengers making sure we don’t miss any mountain. Must try!”
