“Everything went smooth, no problems. The onboard staff was extremely helpful in making sure you knew where to look and exactly what you were looking at. Everyone received a map of the Himalayas and a certificate. Views of Everest were incredible.”

“Hello..I am Neha from Assam,India..I did EBC trek with HSJ in Sep 2024..I am extremely satisfied with the service provided right from the airport pickup to the drop off at airport after finishing the trip.. Our Trek Guide Mr. Khill Raj was very knowledgeable and treated us just like his family..He made sure we were comfortable and shared his knowledge about the route and trek and culture and history..He would also engage in some board and card games to pass time in the evening and to keep us entertained.. Our porter Mr Pravin was also very nice to us..He always carried our luggage with smile and reached the destination before us..He accompanied us on the acclimatisation hikes and I think he will make a good trek guide himself… All in all I am very satisfied and would recommend HSJ to anyone who is considering EBC trek…”

The flight attendants walked through the cabin, pointing out the mountains we were seeing, which added a special touch to the journey. “Saw the mountain. The weather was perfect. Good thing I bought the good weather package 😀 The boarding was a bit dicey without a ticket, but I eventually found the right airline. The plane was a smaller CRJ200 jet. The morning sun hit Sagarmatha perfectly. The guides on the pointed out the various beautiful mountains by name. The certificate at the end was a nice touch. “The flyover of Mt. Everest was very worth it since driving to the base or using other transportation would be difficult. In this way, one could get a good view from about 26000 feet. Positives: 1) one had to work to assure a window seat, but once succeed, good photos are available! 2) during key moments of the flight, I was able to shift to other seats ( other side of the plane), to get photos. Negatives: 1) had to “work it” while on the plane to assure a window seat- and it was not a full plane ( it can’t be; must be 1/2 full to assure window seats 2) had to assure your seat was not over a wing- depending on the aircraft model. “We were a group of 3 with one as a super senior (91 yrs. old) where a wheelchair accessible travel activity was a blessing. The Himalayan Social Journey team contacted us ahead of the flight to share details of the driver and our airline ticket soft copy. Next morning, we had a 6:45am pickup for an 8am Everest Experience flight (via Shree Airlines). The pickup was sharp on time at our hotel lobby, using a AC mini bus which also had other patrons. The ride was comfortable and dropped us off at the domestic airline parking area. I wish they had a wheelchair onboard which my grand mother could have used to get till the airport entrance which is some 100-200 steps away. Post that the process was like regular flight booking. Make sure to ask for seats on the left and not over the wings! We flew on a clear day and saw some amazing vistas!! My grandmother was thrilled to have seen the Everest during her lifetime. It’s an absolutely stunning experience. P.S: buying from the airline directly will be cheaper than Viator but won’t include pick up and drop. After the flight, the driver was waiting for us outside and it was fairly easy process to come back. We were dropped back off at our hotel. The whole trip from pickup to drop took about 3.5 hours since our flight was on time and there wasn’t a lot of rush for the mountain flight.”

The flight attendants were very friendly and professional, they explained to us which mountains we saw all along the flight. The views of the Himalaya are awesome and made me feel humble and greatful for having had the possibility to make this a once in a lifetime experience!”

“I had a great experience on the scenic mountain flight to Mount Everest. Is wonderful flying along the Himalayan range seeing many of the worlds tallest peaks up to and surrounding Mount Everest, which we got a wonderful view of. I would definitely do this again and I highly recommend it. The flight crew pointed out which mountains were which and the Status of their level of the worlds highest mountains.”

“I came to Nepal to conquer Mt. Everest, and I did…sort off. :D I can’t climb mountains even to save my life! So I did the next best thing, which was to fly, to get a scenic view of Mt. Everest and the rest of the chain of the Himalayan mountains. I was picked up promptly from my hotel, very early for the early morning flight and dropped off at the airport. We had tickets purchased by the tour company (Himalayan Social Journey) . After check-in, we waited until it was our turn. The left side of the plane got to see the mountains first then the plane turned around and it was our side’s (right) turn. We had a map with illustration of the various mountains. Flight staff of Shee Airlines also went around and helped us orient with the view. It was an amazing experience to actually see the peak up close. Everyone went home extremely pleased and happy. It was a clear day and the peak was very visible with a few clouds, which actually made the view even more stunning. It was an exhilarating one hour experience. This activity is highly recommended and a must-do on a visit to Nepal.”

“This excursion was one of the highlights of my first trip to Nepal. I was only in Nepal for a short visit but wanted to see Everest and the other mountains up close. Since the visibility is limited from the ground, I was excited for this opportunity. High above the clouds, the view was even better than expected. Would highly recommend this to anyone traveling to visit. The safe was flight. The travel company sent frequent messages to coordinate pickup and even followed up afterwards to see how things went. 10/10”

“Unbelievable 😀. The service and tour was fantastic. When we arrived at the airport, and checked in, our flight got cancelled due to bad weather. We were concerned how we would get back to the hotel, but our driver was waiting outside for us at the airport, and took us back to our hotel. Our flight was rearranged for the next day, and again the driver was there the next morning to take us back to the airport. The service we received from the tour company was excellent. We were reassured all the way. The view of the Himalayas was breathtaking. Every part of the tour was absolutely faultless.”
