“Had an amazing experience with the Himalayan Social Journey trekking team. We were a team of 7 member with 4 hikers from India, 2 porters and one trekking guide. Dawa Sherpa was the best guide and was very accommodating towards every team member's needs. We had appropriate rest days coupled with trek days due to which we were able to maintain speed and also get acclamatized to the sudden altitude shifts. Dawa Ji always maintained a jolly mood and gave individual feedback to each team member before and after the day. Dawa Ji also helped in the cases of minor medical issues and was well prepared for any possible contingency during the trek. In several other groups, many people had to be rescued or evacuated but our group completed the trek without any case of attrition. Big thanks to Dawa Sherpa, as he knew the mountains like the back of his hands.”

“I just completed my EBC trek with Himalayan social journey. It waa an incredible experience. My trek guides Mingmarg and Kilraj both were very professional, experienced and knowledgeable. As someone with no prior trekking experience, limited preparation, and doing this trek solo, I had my share of fears. But thanks to their patient guidance, local expertise, and unwavering support, I felt confident and cared for every step of the way. Mingmarg went out of his way to help me in many things. “Trek to Everest base camp was so memorable. I never thought I would reach those heights, surrounded by mountains. Life out there is soo different then mine it was more peaceful, early morning sun rays arising from the mountains was a treat to watch. This Trek thought me to believe in myself, challenging my physical strength. And our guide Mingmar sherpa is very helpful and knowledgeable. He has lot of patience and helped me to get through the Trek.”

“This was an amazing trip. Himalayan Social Journey was an excellent company that took care of us from the minute we left the airport until we returned three weeks later. Our guide, Indra, was incredible and made an already excellent experience even better with his encyclopedic knowledge of the area and his genuine excitement to share his country with us. The beautiful views never stopped with some of the highlights being Gokyo Lake, the panoramic views from Dzongla, hiking across multiple glaciers, and of course reaching Everest Base Camp. I can not recommend this tour and this company enough.”
