Travellers' Choice 2026“Had an amazing experience with the Himalayan Social Journey trekking team. We were a team of 7 member with 4 hikers from India, 2 porters and one trekking guide. Dawa Sherpa was the best guide and was very accommodating towards every team member's needs. We had appropriate rest days coupled with trek days due to which we were able to maintain speed and also get acclamatized to the sudden altitude shifts. Dawa Ji always maintained a jolly mood and gave individual feedback to each team member before and after the day. Dawa Ji also helped in the cases of minor medical issues and was well prepared for any possible contingency during the trek. In several other groups, many people had to be rescued or evacuated but our group completed the trek without any case of attrition. Big thanks to Dawa Sherpa, as he knew the mountains like the back of his hands.”
