“Visiting the Everest region was incredible. The mountains are massive and make you feel very small. The trek was demanding but the views every day were amazing. Sherpa culture, small villages, and prayer flags added a special feeling to the journey. Everest itself is hard to describe — you have to see it to understand. An unforgettable experience.”

“From start to finish, the experience was top-notch. Pick up at our hotel was prompt (at 5:30 am!) and we arrived at Nagarkot about 10 minutes before sunrise. From there, we had a substantial (and delicious) breakfast at a nearby hotel's restaurant, hiked a couple hours through the small villages below Nagarkot, and then went to Bhaktapur. Our guide - Dipendra - is fun, intelligent, and speaks excellent English. He made the trip truly memorable and a great opportunity for us to learn more about Nepal's history, culture, and the day-to-day goings on in the country. The driver, Ram, was similarly excellent.”

“Two words…Absolutely Awesome!! The views of the Himalayas and Everest were breathtaking, certainly one of the best experiences of my life, without doubt! The company ensured that the pickup and drop off from & to the hotel were very smooth (even when we had a delay of 2.5hrs at the airport until the mist cleared on the mountains, the driver was there to meet us, with a smile on his face). If you are in Katmandu this trip is an absolute must (the company connected with me throughout on the lead up to the trip, which was brilliant…I would definitely book with them again and recommend them…they offered a very competitive price too)..”

“I booked my tour of Nepal from the UK. It was seamless and I was collected from the airport and a quick transfer to the hotel. The tour was amazing, spending time in Kathmandu, Pokhara and Sarangkot before returning to Kathmandu for my last night. As I was travelling solo, I was able to join other groups for city tours and some transfers. The guides were incredible people, very knowledgeable, good communicators and excellent advocates for Nepal. The company arranged a tourist bus - sofa seats and very comfy, to drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara and just under 8 hours with toilet and food stops. If you have the time, you must make this trip, it has more thrills than a theme park and a fantastic”

“This activity is really worth it. It may be considered costly for what things are worth in Nepal, but it is really not expensive since they only sell the seats that face the window and it seems that they already understood what those who do not have visual can sell either by the wings or the engines, that is, an aircraft with approximately 80 seats sell about 22 stalls. It really is a beautiful experience!!”

“One of the most amazing experiences of my life. The price seemed high but was worth every single cent for a once in a lifetime experience. The booking company Himalayan Social Journey were very professional and had great communication. The helicopter company were also very professional and I felt completely safe at all times. The pilot provided information during the whole experience pointing out everything of interest. Landed at Lukla Airport, Gorakshep and Everest View Hotel for breakfast.”

“Another amazing experience booked with Himalayan Social Journey who have great communication. Sitting in the back of the helicopter was very uncomfortable, 4 people squeezed very tightly. Virtually impossible to get any photos or video. However the flight to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) turned out to not what it was about. Being on the ground at ABC was the real experience. Plenty of time to walk and look around and enjoy 360° view of the Annapurnas/Himalayas. Absolutely awesome.”

“I highly recommend this scenic flight if the weather is playing ball. What an experience. I was super happy with the service of HSJ. The driver was at the hotel at the time confirmed and dropped me back after the flight. Everything went very smoothly. The flight is 45 - 60 minutes but it felt longer as I was so excited to fly over the Himalaya. Loved it. My wife did it the next day and had the same seamless and exciting experience. Thank you!”

“​We booked the group tour to 7 UNESCO sites - it was easily the highlight of our trip to Kathmandu. Covering all seven sites—Swayambhunath, Kathmandu Durbar Square, etc. —in a single day is a marathon, but our guide - Ashok, made it feel seamless. ​Ashok is incredibly knowledgeable, funny and pleasant - explaining from intricate Newari architecture to the deep spiritual significance of the cremation rituals at Pashupatinath. The van was air-conditioned and clean, which was a lifesaver given the Kathmandu traffic. If you are short on time and want to see the best of Nepal’s history, this is the tour to book.
