"The Kailash-Manasarovar trip was never on our bucket list because my husband and I knew this to be an intense trip and never thought of this as something we could do. The idea was planted in my head by a dear friend who had been on an Everest Base Camp trip organized by Himalayan Social Journey (HSJ) and her enthusiasm inspired me. She had such a great experience on the EBC trip that she chose HSJ again for this trip, which I would say is the ultimate adventurous pilgrimage. There were so many unexpected twists and turns with sudden changes in Chinese visa processing timeframes , bridge collapse and landslides, but HSJ was very resourceful, handled it all with professionalism and care, ensuring our overall trip dates and flight reservations were not affected. We had a greatly satisfying, spiritual experience. I highly recommend them and will certainly choose them for future travel needs. It’s a family-run business and they treat their clients like family.
