The entire journey — from planning to the last step back — was smooth, well-organized, and totally stress-free. Massive shoutout to our guide, Tika Raam. This guy was a legend — super knowledgeable, always patient, and constantly lifting the group’s energy. Whether we needed trail info, motivation, or just a good laugh, he was there. And Prajwal, our porter — what an absolute champ. Always smiling, always ahead of us with our gear, and always ready to help with anything we needed. There were tough moments on the trail, but the support and positivity from these two made it feel doable — even fun. Felt safe, looked after, and honestly just had a blast. The mountains were breathtaking, but it was the people that made the trip unforgettable. If you’re thinking about trekking in Nepal, I can’t recommend Himalayan Social Journey enough. My wife and I did a private tour of the 7 UNESCO heritage sites in & around Kathmandu and had an incredible time. Our guide, Dipendra, was super knowledgeable and a great ambassador of Nepal. This was my first time trekking in Nepal and it was just incredibly amazing. Breathtaking views, grueling hikes and brutal weather, but so much fun and companionship- -words fail me. This experience pushed me beyond all my limits I have ever known. That being said, I would give all the credit to our amazing guide Dinesh Malla. Amazingly responsible, competent, dependable, very professional, thorough, always attending to our comfort and safety. Traveling as a single woman, safety was of utter importance to me on and off the trail, and this was always well taken care of. In addition, Dinesh has amazing local connections and with his friendly personality, he helped secure the best available amenities in the little lodges. Not to mention his knowledge of the mountains- he could rattle off names and heights of mountains without skipping a beat. He encouraged us through the difficult Kala Patthar hike, helping as needed in dangerous areas, and yet stopping for the best shots at the best times. Between him and his assistant Janak, we got accurately timed beautiful sunrise and sunset pictures almost daily. To top it all, Dinesh also welcomed us into his house for a traditional lunch with his family after we got back to Kathmandu. This was such a heartwarming and beautiful experience. This trip has been phenomenal at all levels. From personal accomplishment, to learning about Nepal and its people, forming new friendships, and last but not the least, remembering fondly my interactions with Dinesh and Janak. That is priceless and will be with me forever. If I return to Nepal, I will definitely go with Guide Dinesh again.

I travelled around Nepal and Himalaya Social Journey made the trip very smooth, I cannot recommend it enough. Big shout out to our Guide Amir who excelled his role in every possible way, we was our side kick during the trip, very knowledgeable, friendly, punctual, helpful and provided a faultless service during our trip to Poon Hill. Also our porter Su Deep was on the same level of service as Amir was. In our trip to Ilam our guide Rubiska was very sweet and helpful with every type of information and service we needed. I cannot say what was the favourite part of our trip as every place and activity was different and special on its own. This is a very memorable trip for us and will treasure every moment of it.

We did the 14 days Nepal budget tour and we could not be more happy with our choice. In only 2 weeks we visited Kathmandu, Chitwan national park, Pokhara and did a 5 day trek in the Annapurna region. The organization was flawless (like a swiss clock). We felt safe and welcomed in every place. Our guides Harka (Chitwan) and Ganesh (Pokhara and trek) + Bishal (our porter) did an outstanding job. We recommend them and the whole trip 100%. It was much better than we could have imagined. In the end, we recommand everyone to visit the beautiful places from Nepal and meet its warm and welcoming people.

We were picked up on time, provided with a packed breakfast and got to the airport quickly. We were directed to the right place, boarded the plane efficiently. The views were unbelievable and the air crew pointed out all the peaks. They were charming. We were collected by our taxi without problems. An amazing experience, one I’d definitely repeat.
