I enjoyed this tour. Visiting the seven UNESCO sites was informative and amazing. I loved seeing each site up close and having a guide to point things out which I might have otherwise missed on my own. My guide was Ashok Silwal. If you sign up for this tour, you’ll be lucky to have him on your trip. Ashok was very friendly, has a great sense of humor and took time to share anecdotes and stories along the day. He’s also very patient with any questions you may have. I also appreciated having a driver to navigate the day. The vehicle was comfy and cozy and o was blessed with a good group of travelers. This trip was 10/10. With Ashok, it was 12/10.

Unbelievable 😀. The service and tour was fantastic. When we arrived at the airport, and checked in, our flight got cancelled due to bad weather. We were concerned how we would get back to the hotel, but our driver was waiting outside for us at the airport, and took us back to our hotel. Our flight was rearranged for the next day, and again the driver was there the next morning to take us back to the airport. The service we received from the tour company was excellent. We were reassured all the way. The view of the Himalayas was breathtaking. Every part of the tour was absolutely faultless.

It was one of the great experience travelling with Himalayan social journey with our guide santosh amd sonam. Both were very experienced and informed about the terrain and guided us throughout the trek through daily briefing what to wear and how to walk and how our journey will be next day. I felt i m in safe hand on first day. I would recommend him whenever you travel with himalayan social journey for everest base camp. We also got the certificate at the successful completion of the trek.

During my trek to Annapurna Base Camp, our guide stood out in the most unexpected and heartwarming ways. He wasn’t just leading us through rocky trails and snow-laced paths — he was quietly looking out for everyone. He’d carry people’s bags without being asked, offer his hand when the ground got tricky, and somehow always knew when someone needed a break or a word of encouragement. There was something so effortlessly kind about him, like he wasn’t trying to impress anyone — he just cared. I don’t know, he was just… really nice. And that kind of nice sticks with you. the guide name is tikaram

My group of three did the Everest Base Camp Trek with the Helicopter ride down and all I can say is, what an experience! In the best way possible! First off Himalayan Social Journey made the whole booking process super simple and they answered all of questions, and I had a lot of questions! From the second we landed in Kathmandu to the second we left, Himalayan Social Journey took care of us every step of the way, from coordinating airport pick up/drop off, coordinating our stay, the entire trek and taking great care of us when we got back to Kathmandu after the trek! Now specifically for the EBC trek we cannot thank Indra, our guide, and our three porters enough! We ended up having a total group of 6 people. Our porters were so friendly and helpful and always got our kit bags to the next tea house! Indra our guide was AMAZING!!!!! He went above and beyond throughout the whole trip and was so encouraging the whole trip and that was a huge help especially since throughout the trek we all had highs and lows! He made sure we were drinking enough water, helped get us set up with our tea house and made sure we had all of our food ordered! Indra was also a wealth of knowledge, throughout the trek he would tell us about the different towns, the different mountains, the culture we were experiencing, and any questions we had he was always happy to answer them! The trek was tough, but Indra made sure our whole group made it to EBC and we had a good time during the whole thing! Indra really went above and beyond during the trip especially from the start when limited planes were taking off to Lukla he got us on a flight! I highly recommend booking your EBC trek through Himalayan Social Journey and I definitely recommend asking for Indra to be your guide!!!! You will not regret it!

Excellent trip. Amazing views of the mountains and Mount Everest. The air staff were very helpful and pointed out locations and names of the peaks to assist with the complimentary map. Lovely touch to get a certificate at the end of the flight.

Absolutely stunning views! Was taken care of throughout the entire trek, our guide Indra (@mountain_guide_nepal) provided us with everything we needed, was extremely knowledgeable, making this an unforgettable experience. Cant recommend him enough! Will definitely be back soon ❤️

Had an amazing experience with the Himalayan Social Journey trekking team. We were a team of 7 member with 4 hikers from India, 2 porters and one trekking guide. Dawa Sherpa was the best guide and was very accommodating towards every team member's needs. We had appropriate rest days coupled with trek days due to which we were able to maintain speed and also get acclamatized to the sudden altitude shifts. Dawa Ji always maintained a jolly mood and gave individual feedback to each team member before and after the day. Dawa Ji also helped in the cases of minor medical issues and was well prepared for any possible contingency during the trek. In several other groups, many people had to be rescued or evacuated but our group completed the trek without any case of attrition. Big thanks to Dawa Sherpa, as he knew the mountains like the back of his hands.

On our trek, we met the guide (Tikaram). He was accompanying a very nice Indian family in three generations were doing the trek. The oldest member of the family was 80 years old! An incredible achievement. I'm writing this review because we found Tikaram to be a truly amazingly kind and helpful guide. I highly recommend booking this guide for your trek. He had an answer for every situation, and his team (Sagar and Prajol) both porters, were both really lovely young people who always made us laugh. All in all, a great team!
