Dear all, I would like to write a huge thanks to the entire team of Himalayan Social Journey. I took 4 excursions : 7 UNESCO heritage, airplane flight with Everest view, Chandragiri hill and sunrise in Nagarkot. All my guides were very good and all the drivers were very polite and punctual. This is very important. The professionalism of the entire HSJ team made my trip a memorable and great experience. I am very grateful to the whole team of employees , thank you very much!!! Especially I would like to thank General Manager Aswin Sapkota. Even a few months before my trip Aswin answered all my questions and gave me full information on every possible tour option. I have to say that I am a specific customer and with my high level of responsibility I always ask a lot of questions and try to control everything. Aswin always provided me with quick feedback, weekends and holidays. Aswin organized all my excursions perfectly and provided me with all the detailed information and organizational details in advance. I was very satisfied. I would also like to say thank you to my guide Rajan Pudasainee. He is probably one of the kindest and most positive person. I really enjoyed my excursions with him, he told me in detail about the history of Nepal and all the sights. It was very interesting and informative. Also Rajan is very punctual and attentive and a very good photographer.Now I have a huge amount of cool pictures from this trip, it’s fantastic! Trekked Annapurna circuit and base camp. This is the 3rd time using HSJ. Very well organised team. Usha my email go to with questions answered promptly and answered everything I needed to know. The hotel in Kathmandu was very clean and comfortable. The restaurant attached served delicious meals. Highly recommend HSJ. My guide Ser was wonderful, he was so passionate for his country and mountains. Som his young brother the porter smiled the whole trip, even without understanding english. I wish them good luck in the future and will miss their kind hearts. I have meet so many good people through HSJ. Spectacular trip, amazing views, fabulous villages along the way. Hope to return again some day soon.

We organized an EBC trip with Thrillophilia and HSJ is their partner. The organization was really good, and the guides were extremely nice and helpful. The group was a little big (15 people) however it did not bother a lot. Fortunately we got like minded people with us so it was enjoyable. The accommodations were also nice. I would have given 5 starts but there were some shortcomings: 1) The sleeping bags and oxygen were not included even though they are mentioned in the (Thrillophilia) description 2) The guide did not do a lot of briefings however answered questions when we asked.

We did a tour of the UNESCO heritage sites of Kathmandu & Bhaktapur. Our tour guide and driver were both great, lots of information about all the sites and time to explore. Took us to a nice rooftop restaurant for lunch with a view over Bhaktapur. Great way to see all the sights in the limited time we had in Kathmandu before we headed off on a trek. Would recommend - thank you!

Great experience with this company. Me and my friend went on EBC trek. We had Tenzing as a guide and Janak as a porter. Could not have been more happy these person. Very professional yet nice and true people. They have made the difference.

My friend and I booked the Everest 3 Passes Trek through Himalayan Social Journey and had an overwhelmingly positive experience from start to finish. Whilst arranging the trek they made everything so easy and were always happy and quick to answer our questions. Our local guide Dipak was fantastic, he is very knowledgeable, professional and always got us into amazing teahouses with the best food which is always good after a big day trekking! We also really liked that we could be flexible with the itinerary and Dipak made it easy for us to spend longer in some areas. Overall I am so glad we arranged our trip with HSJ and I wouldn't change a single thing about our time with them!

We have now done two treks with Himalayan Social Journey, to Mardi Himal Base Camp and to Annapurna Base Camp. The trek to Annapurna was the hardest thing I've ever done (I am 65 years old, so maybe was being a bit ambitious) but hugely rewarding. We felt very safe and well looked after on both treks, the organisation and communication were excellent and if I ever go trekking in Nepal again, I would definitely go with HSJ. The Mardi Himal trek was shorter and easier and included rafting and a trip to Chitwan national park to see local wildlife.You inevitably tend to meet other trekers and don't really get a huge cultural experience. But the trekking is awesome! We were unlucky with the weather on our Annapurna trek, so didn't get the same glorious sights of the mountains. But this is partly becase we had to fit the trek into various holiday allowances. So do your research, get yourself as fit as possible and expect an experience of a lifetime.

It’s been about a week since I finished the trek to EBC with this company and I can’t stop telling everyone about how incredible it was. Yes, the trek is beautiful and one of the most rewarding (albeit challenging) tasks I have ever undertaken, but it’s more than that. The guides, specifically Santosh and Dinny made the experience absolutely amazing. They kept everyone constantly motivated and were super funny and engaging. By the end of it, the two of them were proper friends that I would stay in contact with. You can tell they are doing what they do because of passion and love for the mountains which also made it so much better. Coming from Australia, choosing a good tour company was super important to me especially from the social aspect, and I can confirm that this tour caters for everything and everyone. Thanks again Santosh and Dinny - you guys are absolute legends.
