1)    Chitwan National Park
Chitwan National Park is one of the oldest national park of Nepal. The park was established in 1973. It was formerly known as Royal Chitwan National Park. The park was listed as world heritage sites by UNESCO in 1884. The area of the park is 952.63 square kilometer. The park is located in the subtropical inner terai lowlands of south central Nepal. 

Chitwan National Park shelters 180 species of mammal, more than 800 species of bird and diverse vegetation. The national park is home to some of the endangered animals like one horned rhinoceros, royal Bengal tiger and other animals like sloth bears, wild boars, and different species of crocodiles, four horned antelope pythons, jungle cats, striped hyena, cobra, monitor lizard and many more. Royal Bengal tiger and one horned rhinoceros are the main attraction of the national park.  

Likewise, chitwan is one of the famous destination for bird watching tour hence is home to several bird species like Kingfisher, hornbills, grey headed eagles, sun birds, fly catchers, peafowls, geese, parakeets and so on.

2)    Bardia National Park
Bardia National Park is second most travelled destination for jungle safari in Nepal after Chitwan National Park. The national park was established in 1988. The national park is also known as Royal Bardia National Park. Bardia National Park is largest national park of Nepal.

The national park is located in the far western Nepal and bordered by River Karnali in the west, the churia range in the north. The Babai River flows through the river providing excellent habitat to the plants and animals of the park. 

Jungle Safari in Bardia national park is one of the best trip since the national has kept its natural beauty intact. Therefore, the park is undisturbed and unspoiled. The varied geographical factors together with thick cover of Sal, Savannah forests and grassland creates the perfect habitat for flora and fauna.  

Bardia National Park is home to 30 different mammals, more than 250 species of Bird, varieties of reptiles and aquatic species. Some of the common animals found in the park are wild elephant, swamp deer, blackbuck, gharial, crocodile and mugger crocodile.  If lucky, the gangetic dolphin can be spotted in the Karnali River. 

Similarly, different species of birds like sarus crane, silver eared mesia, Bengal florican, lesser florican can be spotted.
